Student at the Medical School of the Santa Casa de São Paulo School of Medical Sciences (FCMSCSP), Beatriz Nobre Monteiro Paiatto gave an oral presentation at the STI & HIV 2019 World Congress, held from July 14 to 17, 2019, at the Centro de Convenções de Vancouver, in East Vancouver, Canada. The student will participate in the 2018/2019 Edition of the Project Researchers of the Future of FCMSCSP.
The Congress represents the joint meeting of the International Society for Research on Sexually Transmitted Diseases (ISSTDR) and the International Union Against Sexually Transmitted Infections (IUSTI). The biennial meeting is one of the largest international meetings on sexually transmitted infections, attracting delegates from around the world.
Under the theme “IST’s Evolutionary Overview and the Elimination of HIV,” this meeting provided an excellent opportunity for the world’s most prominent researchers and health professionals to join in the common goal of improving global public health in the field of sexually transmitted diseases . infections, including HIV.
The meeting provided the opportunity for conference participants to interact with experts, present their research findings to an international audience, listen to the latest scientific developments from world leaders in the field of STI / HIV and contribute to discussions that will shape future health and patient care around the world.
