Postdoctoral Program

The Postdoctoral Program is a period for defining or adding new knowledge through a research project.

The course conducts high-level studies, strengthens the institution’s research groups, and encourages seeking funding sources for the research project. It renews the faculty of the postgraduate programs and promotes the inclusion of Brazilian or foreign researchers in postdoctoral stages, stimulating their integration into projects developed by research groups or in the institution’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The course will be supervised by a faculty member from the stricto sensu Postgraduate Programs of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo.

About the course

Modality: In-person or partially in-person, depending on the development of the research. No coursework hours are required.
Student Profile: Health professionals who have obtained a Doctorate degree.
Periodicity: According to the work plan, including the development of a scientific or technological research project. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Duration: Maximum of 60 months
Credits for Degree: In the Postdoctoral Program, there are no credits for the degree.

Acceptance Letter from the Supervisor in PDF format;
Research project to be developed in PDF format;
Work plan and schedule of activities to be developed during the Postdoctoral Program in PDF format;
Project budget and specification of the funding source in PDF format;
RG and CPF (front and back) in JPG or PDF format;
Doctorate Diploma (front) in JPG or PDF format;
Doctorate Diploma (back) in JPG or PDF format;
Proof from the Human Research Ethics Committee or Animal Ethics Committee, when necessary, in PDF format;
Recent face photo with a light background in JPG or PDF format.
