Although world knowledge, vocabulary, oral language comprehension, reflections, hypotheses and contact with different textual genres are extremely important for the reading product, they cannot be the only targets to be achieved within the classroom during practices. of reading and writing. It is also necessary to systematically invest in promoting reading fluency (accuracy, speed, prosody) which, consequently, will open paths for understanding. In Brazil, little literature, and especially, little material has the objective of developing reading in all its spheres, in the school context. Thus, the work aims to develop an educational or clinical intervention program to stimulate reading fluency skills (accuracy, speed, and prosody) in students attending the 2nd year of EF I (Elementary School Phase 1) or students from the 2nd year who have not yet developed fluent reading.
