The objective of this work was to develop support material for all teachers in the literacy cycle “Guide to Literacy Recommendations: Speech-Language Pathology considerations” For this purpose, the work was divided into two stages. 52 teachers of both sexes that contained 26 questions divided into 3 parts: Teacher Profile, Linkert Scale of importance on subjects within the context of literacy and open questions about their profession and educational speech therapy. The second step was to develop a guide for teachers of the literacy cycle based on the theoretical framework and the survey of the questionnaire. The answers to the questionnaire were analyzed by their frequency of occurrence according to the teacher’s profile and teaching modality. From the results, we can conclude that there is a need to reinforce the importance of literacy predictive skills and how educational speech therapy can favor this process together with the school team.
